About the Qualification

In order to obtain the Swiss Ski Instructor SSBS certificate, you must have successfully completed the following modules:

 

Admission theory course (ZK Ski)

Ski Module 1 (Sl1)

Ski Module 2 (Sl2)

Safety & Rescue (SR)

Emergency Management (NM)

Practical courses (P1 and P2)

Instructor Exam (IK Ski)

Admission Theory Course

The Admission course gives you access to the instructor program and gives you an insight into the program's structure.

Duration: 2 days

about the courses

Ski Module 1

Ski Module 1 is the first module in the SSBS Instructor program after the admission course. The module consists of a sound technical part and an introduction to the methodology. 
The exam day is for candidates who have completed Ski Module 1 at a school.
Duration: 6 days or 1 day

Ski Module 2

Ski Module 2 is the second module in the SSBS Instructor program after Ski Module 1. 
The exam day is for candidates who have completed Ski Module 2 at a school.
Duration: 9 days or 1 day

Safety & Rescue

Intensive safety and rescue qualification. The module is mandatory for graduation to SSBS Instructor.
Duration: 4 days

Emergency Management

The emergency management course includes first aid in case of accidents and medical emergency situations in snowsports. 
Duration: 2 days

Instructor Exam

The final examination for SSBS Ski Instructor
